3 Sets of Pathology Equipment and Consumables Shipped to Mexico
Oct 10 , 2026

A full container of pathology equipment and consumables has left our factory for a client in Mexico. Three complete sets of pathology laboratory equipment were packed, loaded and sealed inside a single 40ft container in October 2026.

What Went into This Pathology Equipment and Consumables Shipment

Each of the three sets covers the main stations of a working histology laboratory. A microtome handles routine paraffin sectioning, an embedding center takes care of wax embedding and the cooling step that follows it, a tissue processor runs the overnight dehydration and clearing protocol, and a cryostat covers frozen sections.

The consumables shipped alongside the instruments are the items a busy laboratory replaces most often: slides, cassettes, embedding moulds, microtome blades and staining accessories. Sending them in the same container means the receiving laboratory can move from unpacking to running cases without waiting for a second delivery.

Why Three Complete Sets Travel in One Container

Grouping three sets in one 40ft container is a deliberate loading decision rather than a coincidence of order size. Every station has to be present before a laboratory can produce a finished slide, so a laboratory that receives a tissue processor without its embedding center and cryostat is holding equipment it cannot yet run.

Loading them together also keeps one packing list, one bill of lading and one customs entry for the buyer to handle, instead of three separate consignments arriving on different schedules.

Quality Control and Export Packaging

Every instrument travels in its own plywood export case instead of a carton. Plywood takes the load of stacking far better than cardboard, and it keeps the sectioning mechanism and the cryostat chamber away from the handling that happens between the factory, the port and the final warehouse.

The cases leave the workshop marked with the standard export handling symbols - fragile, keep dry, this way up - and are then blocked and braced inside the container so that nothing shifts on the sea freight leg. One idea worth keeping: a histology laboratory is only as fast as its slowest station, which is why this order was built as one workflow rather than four separate purchases.
